Outpatient Procedures

A written physician order with diagnosis is required.

The Outpatient Procedures Deptartment allows patients to have procedures and therapies,
whether one-time or ongoing, as an outpatient. This is cost effective for the patient,
improves flow through the Emergency Department, and can shorten inpatient hospital
admission.

The Outpatient Procedures Dept. is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A nurse
is available on weekends from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A notification by the physician's office when sending a patient to the Outpatient Procedures Department is preferred prior to patient arrival. This assists us with scheduling as the Outpatient Procedures Department can only accommodate 5 patients at one time. Since many patients stay for one or two hours or longer, appointments can prevent wait time for patients.

Walk-in patients are accepted with physician orders during the Outpatient Procedures Department hours of operation.
