Description of Position
Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for a full-time Biller in Patient Financial Services.  Position is responsible for insurance billing, monitoring and verifying insurance coverages, communication with patients, third party payers, and other Hospital departments, calculating and reconciling daily transactions, and all other duties related to Patient Financial Services functions. Position is  Monday through Friday, daytime hours.  Bargaining unit position.  Pay range is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.  

Qualifications
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent, one-year experience in hospital billing or a related field, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.  Also requires strong teamwork, customer service, communication skills, competency with basic Microsoft Office programs, and computer skills necessary to perform the position functions.

Description of Position
Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for a full-time Certified Coder in Health Information Management.  Position assigns procedure and diagnosis codes to medical services performed by providers in the Hospital and the Clinics to achieve accurate and timely reimbursement from insurance carriers.  Position also performs other duties related to the coding process and the HIM office operation.  Regular hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional adjustments to work schedule as needed. Bargaining unit position. Pay range is $20.50 to $24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.  Possibility of higher pay with significant experience beyond the minimum qualifications.

Qualifications
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience, knowledge of CPT, PCS, and HCPCS codes, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.  Coding certification required or must be obtained within 1 year of employment.  Also requires strong teamwork, customer service, and communication skills, competency with Microsoft Office programs, and computer skills necessary to perform the position functions.

Description of Position
Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for Per Diem Pharmacy Technician.  This person is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the daily operations of the pharmacy.  Duties include filling Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM’s), Unit Dosing medications, and accessing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).  Schedule to be determined on as needed basis.  Not eligible for fringe benefits. Starting pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with possibility of higher rate with substantial experience.

Qualifications
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License, and strong teamwork, customer service, and communication skills.  Prior Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Position provides respiratory therapy services in the hospital and outpatient setting, and performs related duties, according to established procedures and standards. 12-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m. M-F, and every other weekend.  Some on-call hours, as well as some holidays required.  Bargaining Unit Position. Pay range is $38.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Position requires current BLS certification and certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program. Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist, along with knowledge and/or previous experience with central sterile processing and endoscopy experience preferred.
