Description of Position
Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for a full-time Biller in Patient Financial Services. Position is responsible for insurance billing, monitoring and verifying insurance coverages, communication with patients, third party payers, and other Hospital departments, calculating and reconciling daily transactions, and all other duties related to Patient Financial Services functions. Position is Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Bargaining unit position. Base pay range is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
Qualifications
Position requires high school diploma or equivalent, one-year experience in hospital billing or a related field, and strong attention to detail and accuracy. Also requires strong teamwork, customer service, communication skills, competency with basic Microsoft Office programs, and computer skills necessary to perform the position functions.
