Description of Position
Franklin Hospital is seeking applicants for a full-time Surgical Technologist. Position works in surgery, under the supervision of the department director and surgeon, in ensuring all equipment functions properly, all instruments required are available, and that patient safety is maximized. Also performs related duties and assists in other departments as needed. Day position, M-F, with specific hours TBD.
Qualifications
Position requires current BLS certification and certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program. Also requires strong customer service, communication, technology, organizational, and teamwork skills, along with strong attention to detail. Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist, along with knowledge and/or previous experience with central sterile processing and endoscopy experience preferred.
